Week of August 29 -- September 2

Here's what we've got in store for us in Week 3 of the school year!

Day 1: English Colonization -- Breakdown the Colonies one by one and examining their geography, culture, economy, purposes for settlement using the web organizer (Chapter 3 in text)
HW: Web organizers are a HW grade due the date of the Colonies Test (Sept. 8/9)
Notes: Invention Project due September 7 & Colonies Test Sept 8/9

Day 2: Finishing the Breakdown of the Colonies with the web organizers. Comparing and contrasting the colonial regions -- Slavery, agriculture, economy, geography, and climate! Examining life in these colonial regions
HW: Web organizers are a HW grade due the date of the Colonies Test (Sept. 8/9)
Notes: Invention Project due September 7 & Colonies Test Sept 8/9

Day 3: Life in the colonies (Chapter 4) and introducing Colonial Slavery "No day ever dawns for the slave...it is always night" and examining the origins of slavery, Middle Passage, and life as a slave in the colonies...
