Week of March 28 - April 1, 2016

Can you believe that it is April 1 this Friday?  I don't care about April Fools' (y'all are all fools!) I mean that we are in APRIL??  We're headed into the 20th century this week and we will finish Native America and enter World War I and the Roaring Twenties!  


If you missed the Native America unit in class, man did you miss out...but here is a video podcast I put together that summarizes the unit, so you're welcome.

In Class: Finish Native America discussion: the buffalo, Dawes Act, Oklahoma Land Rush, the Nez Perce, and Wounded Knee...

Roaring Twenties Video Assignment!  You will watch the video below as a class and then provide SEVEN facts you learned about the 1920s and then explain in ONE PARAGRAPH  how the Roaring Twenties impact is still present today.
