We are in the LAST TWO WEEKS OF 2014...Don't sweat it!  2015 is right around the corner :)  Here is what's going on the last two weeks of the first half of the year.  We've learned about the War of 1812, the nation slowly expands west into Mizzouri, James Monroe becomes president and makes a statement to the WORLD that the western hemisphere is OFF LIMITS to any European colonization or future settlements, AND Andrew Jackson invades Florida and becomes kind of a big deal.  The Election of 1824 was corrupt, because John Quincy Adams made a bargain with Henry Clay in order to become president, but here we go...
We're entering ANDREW JACKSON'S PRESIDENCY!!!
