Week of October 20-24

Hey Gang!  Welcome to our second week of the Civics/Constitution Unit.  We're cruising through the Articles and now we'll dive into the Amendments!  We're also going to look at the differences between Democrats and Republicans, how the Electoral College works, the Federal Income Tax brackets, and WHY the amendments were passed...Our Government test is on Oct. 29/30 whichever is the last of those days I see you that week (Day 3).  

Article I - Legislative Branch -- Congress: HOR and Senate...
Article II - Executive Branch -- President and VP and the Cabinet...
Article III - Judicial Branch -- Supreme Court and other Federal Courts
Article IV - Relations Among the States 
Article V - How to Pass an Amendment
Article VI - The Constitution is the SUPREME Law of the Land!
Article VII - How to Ratify the Constitution, whenever a state enters the Union, they must ratify the Constitution.

Day 1

In Class:  Pop Quiz on Article I, II, and III -- We're going to finish the Articles of the Constitution today.  I hope you did the Google Form that went with the video podcast I assigned last Wednesday: Article III-VII Google Form
