Week of March 11-15

The Civil War has ended...Time to Reconstruct the nation.  We need to rebuild the devastated South, bring the nation back together, and figure out what to do with the 4 million freed blacks.  We'll also see a new nation emerge...A nation of significant wealth...

Day 1
In Class: Reconstruction1865--1877...How to rebuild the nation after the Civil War.  
HW:  Abraham Lincoln Presidential Project due Friday, April 5.  
Notes:  Research Paper due Friday, February 22!  Civil War Test on April 9/10.

Day 2
In Class: Research Paper work day...Take the outlines and begin the task of fixing the outline, organizing the paper, and hopefully writing the paper...
