Week of January 7--11

Welcome Back Baby Birds!  I hope you enjoyed the Winter Break!....While you were away, Mr. Barry worked every day...Here is what we've got going on this week.  It is a busy one, so please stay on top of your studies!!!

Day 1
In Class:  Industrial Revolution discussion, The Era of Good Feelings & Monroe...A new nation after the War of 1812 emerges...Please watch the Industrial Revolution & Era of Good Feelings video podcast and write down 7 things you learned from the podcast by Friday Jan. 11 for a HW grade
HW:  John Adams & Thomas Jefferson Presidential Projects due Wednesday/Thursday Jan. 9/10.  Test on Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison & Monroe on Wednesday/Thursday Jan. 9/10
Notes:  Lincoln Extra Credit assignments will be entered into the gradebook on Wednesday January 9.  

Day 2
In Class:  James Monroe & J.Q. Adams' presidency readings...Henry Clay, American System, Mizzouri Compromise, Sectionalism, Jackson invades Florida and hopefully Boo Hoo to John Q!
