Week of October 29 -- November 2

Welcome Back Baby Birds!  The Second Quarter is in full swing and we are in the LAST WEEK before Election Day! 

Day 1
In Class: Candidate speeches due today!  We will go over some more of topics...What is the Electoral College?  How does it work?  270 to win?  How do these guys plan on winning?

HW: None
Notes:  Want to know how much Facebook is covering the Election?...This chart shows you how many comments/conversations there are on the social networking site...Holy Cow that's a lot!


Day 2
In Class: What does the Constitution say about the Presidency:  Article II...qualifications, powers, rules, guidelines...
HW: Candidate Poster/Flyer -- Create a Poster/Flyer for one of the candidates and must contain the following:  It must be in color and have a slogan.  You may include a picture of the candidate, elephant/donkey, phrase, map of the US, etc...I suggest you check out the candidate website stores...I also have a few hanging around the classroom and outside the classroom on the bulletin board.  Due Friday, November 2

Day 3
In Class: Who are the Presidents?  Who have they been?  What crazy stuff is there out there ABOUT the 44 men who have held the office of the President of the United States.  Possibly "It's Good to be the President" flick
