5. What happened to Charles Sumner in 1856?  Do you think this violence was going a bit too far?
6. What was the verdict of the Dred Scott decision and what did it mean for the nation?
7. What was the KEY phrase in Abraham Lincoln's speech in 1858 debates with Douglas
8. Was Brown's raid on Harper's Ferry a terrorist act or martyrdom?
9. What happened in 1860 when Lincoln won the election?
