- Why was the war fought -- Who was fighting for what?
- Provide three British and three American advantages entering the war
- Provide two disadvantages for both the British and Americans entering the war.
- Explain the troubles at Valley Forge…Do you think this looked like it might be the end of the war for the Americans? Why/why not?
- 25,000 slaves and freed blacks fought on both sides. What do you think their objectives were? Why’d they fight?
- What two colonies/states had battles during the war?
- Why do you think the British hired Hessian (German Soldiers) to fight their war? (opinionated)
