Week of Jan. 25--29, 2016

Hey Gang!  Great week last week with Westward Expansion and Manifest Destiny!  I hope y'all enjoyed learning about the Oregon Trail, the Pony Express, the Mormons, Texas, and the history of the Telegraph!  This week, we'll look at a mid 19th century reform movement with Women's Rights, Slavery, and Temperance, then continue working on the President Research Paper!  Huzzah!  



Get ready for a test coming on February 9/10 (Day 2 of that week).  It is a short test covering the following:
-Westward Expansion
-Mormons
-Texas
-Pony Express
-Oregon Trail
-Telegraph
-Women's Rights at Seneca Falls Convention
-Temperance
-Slavery
-Road to Civil War -- Comp. of 1850, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Kansas-Nebraska Act, etc...

Day 3
In Class:  President Research Paper -- How to do the Outline and continue research if needed...Outline is due February 5 HOW TO DO THE OUTLINE!
HW:  Watch the Video Podcast on the Road to Civil War and answer question on the Google Form by MONDAY!!!

Day 4

In Class:  Work on President Research Paper Outline and/or note cards... HOW TO DO THE OUTLINE!
