Week of Aug. 18--22

Welcome to Week 2 Gang!  This week we'll look at Jamestown, Plymouth, and the 13 colonies.  We'll compare the three colonial regions in order to understand the roots of English Colonial America.  The 50 Nifty State project is due Friday, Aug. 22 and you will have a test of the 13 colonies on Friday, Sept. 5.  Here we go!

Day 1:  Go over the video podcast information about Roanoke and Jamestown.  Why did Roanoke fail?  What is a colony?  Why was Jamestown successful?  How hard is it to build a colony???  Begin going over the DC packet about Jamestown...What did we do at Jamestown?
