Week of Feb 24-28

HOLY KANSAS-NEBRASKA ACT!  Are we in THIRD TRIMESTER?!?!  Well...I guess we roll through the rest of the school year :)  This week we'll Reconstruct the nation after the Civil War, witness a GLORIOUS Gilded Age of Wealth -- and EXTREME POVERTY, check out some absolutely mediocre Presidents, then enter an Age of Immigration!  This week is very very very student work driven FYI...Let's see what we have in store!

Day 1
In Class:  Reconstruction Questions and Answers...
1.  What was the purpose of Reconstruction?  Who were the individuals most affected by Reconstruction?
2.  What difficulties/struggles do you think the nation faced during Reconstruction?

3.  What were the "plans" to reconstruct the nation?
4.  What laws/Amendments were passed during the Reconstruction period?
5.  When do you think the nation realized Reconstruction was "finished", or was it finished?
