Week of Nov. 11--14

Hey Baby Birds!  Washington, Adams, Jefferson....CHECK!  On to Madison and the War of 1812!!!  It seems fitting that the man who wrote the Constitution would be the first president to declare war.  We will look at the War of 1812 -- Why it was fought, who fought, where it was fought, and the outcomes.  From Madison we move into an "Era of Good Feelings" from 1817--1825 where politically, things were pretty smooth....
But SLAVERY would begin start to TEAR the nation in two...Literally.
