Welcome Back to School!!!

Hey Baby Birds!  Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year!  This is the home of our classroom!  Below you will see that I organize each week by the "day" we meet.  Included are general items we cover in class each day, homework, and other important notes.  Sometimes I will embed videos I would like you to watch, or think you might enjoy, and I will include my video podcasts.  You can also follow me on Twitter, download handouts given in class, click on history games and links, and learn more about our nation's history!  Let's have a great school year!

In Class:  United States Geography.  What is the point of learning about the history of the nation if you do not know it's geography!  Mountains, rivers, states, lakes, canyons, economic and climate factors...Where do we begin?  European Exploration!

In Class:  Finish United States Geography...European Exploration!  There was life before 1492...What was it like?  Who lived where?  How did the Europeans come to discover this "New World"?  What was the "New World" like?  Why did the Europeans come here? What tools did the Europeans use to get across the Atlantic ocean?...Roanoke...Jamestown...
