Week of April 2--5

Hey Bumble B's...I'm in Washington D.C. with the 7th graders but don't fret, I'm thinking about y'all!  I wish you the best of luck this week with your CTP-4 Testing but do not fret, you'll still have class twice this week.  While I'm in D.C. y'all are learning about how the nation left a Progressive and BOOMING Era and enter The Great War (WWI)...

 
Day 1:  Reading Chapter 28.6--29.9 on World War I "The Great War" and answering the questions with it then going over those answers... You will also examine political propaganda of the war...There are flicks on the blog that will help you understand the sinking of the Lusitania and Wilson's League of Nations
HW: Watch the video on the blog below about the Automobile and write down four things you learned...Then write down four effects of the automobile.  This may be in the video, or it may not, you have to THINK about what the automobile did for/to America...Due Thursday (ALL Classes)

Day 2: Finish going over the World War I questions and examine World War I Photographs...What is new in war?  How did World War I become so devastating and the kill rate so extreme?  How did this new military technology influence World War I?  World War I video...
