Week of Jan. 30- February 3

Hey Baby Birds!  We've got a fun week ahead of us!  The President Research Paper is assigned and we're entering the Civil War; where only 2% of the ENTIRE population dies and the nation is destroyed!  Be sure to keep up with the Podcasts!  I have posted a handful on the "Road to Civil War" which will help you with your papers.  I have posted a few on the Civil War, and though I will not assign you to listen to them for grades, they will summarize and even broaden your studies on the Civil War. I have changed the due date for the Extra Credit Civil War Assignment for visiting the Atlanta History Center is due March 12, 2012

Day 1:  Introduce President Research Paper and due dates for the paper.
HW:  Current Events on State of the Union Address due Feb 1 (ALL Classes!) - Parent/Guardian Signature on President Research Paper due Feb 3 (ALL Classes!) -- Presidential Projects due Feb. 3 (M. Van Buren, W.H. Harrison, J. Tyler & J.K. Polk!)
