Class of 2k20's Last Post!

Well Class of 2k20, through thick and thin, through the good and the bad, and through actual class and "digital" class, it's been a fun year!  We took a quiz on the first day of school testing your geography skills which were terrible, re-enacted the Second Continental Congress, learned a million things about the amendments and the Constitution, gone on the Lewis and Clark Expedition, visited Washington D.C. in 7th grade, seen the awesome damage of a minie ball on the human body, and learned the true meaning of taxes, being "in the red", and paying bills...  We've had a lot of fun gang!

When I was your age, I watched a lot of TV shows about school.  I watched Saved By The Bell, The Secret World of Alex Mack and Boy Meets World.  I always wondered what it would be like to be a teacher watching this show because I could easily relate to the students; I was one!  When I was a 10th grader at Riverwood High School I had a teacher who taught me much more than just Language Arts.  He taught me about who I was and about what I wanted to do with my life.  I had a coach at Riverwood who taught me more than just track and field; he taught me to love something.  Since 10th grade, I've always wanted to be a teacher and a coach.  I made it my personal goal and mission to become a teacher and a coach.  It was my dream at 15 years old and I am now living that dream with you.  You were my 15th year in education...Thank you for being so special.

I always enjoyed watching TV shows "about school" as a kid and I remember the last scene of the show Boy Meets World...I find it fitting to leave you with this and for the last time; Be Good...
