HW: Please answer one of the following Q’s in a minimum one-page typed, 12 font, MLA, one-inch margins, Times New Roman. You may write more and you may write in the first person, however please be sure that you are providing details in your answer. This is due by the next class period.
  1. Why do you think the right to own guns so important in America?
  2. What changes/modifications would you make to gun-ownership?
  3. What kind of America do you think the Founding Fathers imagined when they wrote the Second Amendment? How is the United States different now than it was in 1789, when the Second Amendment was written?
  4. Some people, including the president, have called for arming teachers and staff at schools to help prevent school shooting damage. What are your thoughts about this? Should teachers/staff be armed? Why/why not?
